Carbon-zero TENCEL™ Lyocell fibers are third party certified as carbon neutral by means of carbon emission reduction and respective compensation measures*, supporting actions against global warming in line with the UN Sustainable Development Goals**. Carbon-zero TENCEL™ Lyocell fibers have been developed according to three environmental pillars:

•  lower carbon emission levels from production to reduce carbon footprint,

• increased use of renewable energy sources at Lenzing production sites, and

• support of verified global carbon reduction projects to compensate for fiber-related emissions that are not yet avoidable.
